Posted by | Blessed John XXIII Council 14390 sponsored a Food Drive last December 13-16, 2009. It was spearheaded by SK and Bro Frank Trotta. The council collected at least 40 postal boxes. The food was then delivered to the HOPE Center in Davie Florida, assisted by members and youth of the council last December 30, 2009. The food was received by Sister Germana who is the representative of the center. The council also expressed that they will try and provide the needs of the center in terms of food and other services. The next expected food drive will be in June 2010. |
