Posted by  | The Knights of Columbus has teamed up with the Wheelchair Foundation to bring mobility to those in need around the world. Since 2002, the Knights of Columbus has sponsored the distribution of over 15,000 wheelchairs that have been given to people in need. Richard Meyer, Executive Director, DayStar Life Center was pleased to receive a wheelchair from William Fischer, Deputy Grand Knight of St. Scholastica Council #14485, Lecanto. The DayStar Life Center, located at 6751 W. Gulf to Lake Hwy loans free, a variety of handicap accessible equipment.
