Welcome to the Florida State Council Website
Welcome all Brother Knights, Friends and Guest to the Florida State Council Website.
Our website exists for the purpose of sharing and communicating information which helps the State Council serve its members more effectively. This is done by providing them with up-to-date information of the current and future happenings in the Knights of Columbus around the state of Florida. It is designed to easily provide access to all kinds of information about our state council, the local councils within the state, the officers, and a myriad of information regarding our programs and activities.
The Knights of Columbus was founded by Father Michael J. McGivney to render financial aid to its members and their families in 1882. In the 125 years that has passed since, the Knight of Columbus has grown in size and scope. By encompassing not only economic security for its members, through its insurance offerings; but through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works that members at all levels of the Order take part in every minute of every day.
While the principles that our Order was founded on: charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism has not change in 125 years, our world has. This website and the other information technology initiatives that we have, help us to reach our members more effectively, timely and more economically than ever before. Outlined below are areas of our website we feel would be beneficial to you, but we encourage you to look around as there are many gems that you may find valuable to you or others.
