The Florida State Council of the Knights of Columbus is comprised of nearly 49,000 members and over 320 councils in the State of Florida, the Bahamas and Saint Lucia. Since the establishment of Council 611 in Jacksonville Florida in 1904, the Knights of Columbus in the Florida Justification has been faithfully serving the member, the Church, and the community to which the Knights of Columbus belong.
The Knights was formed to provide financial aaid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. The history of the Order shows how the foresight of Father Michael J. McGivney, whose cause for sainthood is being investigated by the Vatican, brought about what has become the world's foremost Catholic fraternal benefit society. The Order has helped families obtain economic security and stability through its life insurance, annuity and long-term care programs, and has contributed time and energy worldwide to service in communities.
The Knights in the Florida Jurisdiction are involved in all sorts of activates and charities, annually giving more than $2 Million Dollars and thousands of hours in volunteers service. We invite you to explore our website; you can read about many of the activates that the Florida Jurisdiction is involved in using the links above.
